Danger: Breaking Down the Eclipse Premier in Slow Motion May Cause Heart Palpatations

Do you ever notice how Rob moves?  Just look at the people around him.  Nobody looks elegant and photogenic in EVERY picture like Rob does.  I'm not saying he's perfect, but that's why he's "perfect".  The nuances of his movement make him unique and absolutely beautiful!

Of course he's always playing with his hair, but who else can pull off sexy double-jointed hair tousling like RPattz!

Photobucket

How about the way he walks...the best part of this picture is the way he places his feet on the ground.

Photobucket

OK, let's just put it out there... Rob's butt never really comes to the forefront of my imagination when daydreaming about our future together, but I'll be rethinking that daydream from now on...let's also say we know he's wearing boxer briefs.

Photobucket

I know Robsten are not officially confirmed as a couple, but c'mon, look at these two and tell me you don't see sparks fly:

Take a final slow-mo walk with Rob and slow down your pulse before moving on!

"Art of Hair Flipping,Part 2" from one of my favorite blogs: Robsessed.com

Well, it’s about time part TWO of The Art of Hair Flipping by Robert Pattinson was posted… I promised I wouldn’t wait a thousand posts… but damn Rob’s been busy and he just hasn’t had chance to let me in on his in-depth hair flipping techniques until now!

To get yourself up to speed on where we left off you can check out The Art of Hair Flipping Part One HERE!

So without further ado – for your entertainment and education – and of course viewing pleasure too, I’ll hand over to Rob and all his hair flipping beauty.

Hope you’ve all been practicing…

A few refreshers to get the wrists moving smoothly – the Back Flip

Photobucket

… the Side Flip

Photobucket

… the Full Frontal Flip

Photobucket

... the Double Jointed Finger Flip...

Photobucket

... and the ever important On Air Flip...

Photobucket

One last crack of the knuckles and we ready to go on with some new flipping techniques.

Not sure if you’ve noticed but he isn’t the only actor who excels in hair flipping, although he is ranked at number one. ThisSneaky Flip was masterfully executed in the split second when Kristen was looking away… cleverly stopping her from following flip and out-doing his flippage.

Photobucket

Including a smug look on your face lets everyone know another cast mate missed a Sneaky Flip!! These sneaky moves work well on red carpets when fellow actors are in the same vicinity vying for the top flip of the evening.

Photobucket

Photobucket

The Smoldering Half Flip is for those that are ready to move into an advanced class. Give it a try… smolder and half flip – a full flip and you’re back to the beginners class!
(And I'm aware you're all intentionally failing in order to keep the class going.)

Photobucket

The Combination Nape Flip/Eyebrow Pull is another advanced technique… but a good one to master! Has been known to score a perfect 10 in Olympic competition.

Photobucket

Wet Flip – no other explanation needed!
(Don't worry, I'll wait
while you reminisce about the beauty of this shoot - just let me know when you're ready to move on.)

Photobucket

OK... are you all back with me? Let's continue.

We learned of Le French Flip before - now we have El Mexicano Flipo, very cleverly paired with a Prop Flip in this example.

Photobucket

Which brings us to the grand finale of flips. Sit back and look on with amazement while I present The Live Flip. This one takes great confidence to pull off and should only be attempted by those knowing they're going to succeed without embarrassment in front of a live audience or a red carpet full of well wishers.

Photobucket

If all else fails and you’re just not getting your flippage right…

Photobucket

... or your hands are full...

Photobucket

…ask someone else to do it for you!

Happy Flipping!

‘Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’ to film in Baton Rouge

Baton Rouge’s film industry will gain some fresh blood this fall as the next installment of the “Twilight” saga comes to shoot in the capital city.

Summit Entertainment has announced it will be filming parts of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” in Baton Rouge and Vancouver, Canada, beginning in the fall.

Amy Mitchell-Smith, executive director of the Baton Rouge Film Commission, said Summit has been scouting locations and researching Baton Rouge for “well over a month.”

Summit is still deliberating what will specifically be filmed in Baton Rouge, Mitchell-Smith said, but the production will begin sometime this fall.

Mitchell-Smith said she couldn’t confirm specific dates, but she expects the project will  remain in the city until spring 2011.

“That in and of itself makes this, aside from the pop culture phenomenon aspect of ‘Twilight,’ something that will be hugely beneficial for the [Baton Rouge] market,” she said.

“Breaking Dawn,” the fourth chapter in the “Twilight” story, will be released as two separate films in the franchise, which has grossed more than $1.4 billion worldwide to date, according to a news release from Summit Entertainment.

Getting the vampire film juggernaut to the Red Stick was the result of aggressive marketing by the Baton Rouge Film Commission, said Paul Arrigo, chairman of the BRFC and president of the Baton Rouge Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.

“The Baton Rouge Film Commission was very involved with soliciting and nabbing ‘Twilight’ for Baton Rouge,” Arrigo said.

Mitchell-Smith said she worked hard to communicate constantly with the film’s producers, making herself available at all times for questions about production.

“We’re putting our best foot forward in the market and showing them exactly what it is they want to see,” she said. “This is about customer service, first and foremost.”

In addition to Louisiana’s tax incentives to production studios, Mitchell-Smith said Baton Rouge offers a wide array of benefits that lure projects to the city.

“The film industry obviously spends so much money locally that another major reason you have local offices like our Baton Rouge Film Commission is so we can be aggressive promoters and marketers of our area,” she said.

One of the city’s programs to benefit film studios is a “grassroots vendor discount program,” Mitchell-Smith said.

The program includes more than 70 local businesses, ranging from office supply stores to restaurants, spas and car rental companies, which typically offer 15- to 20-percent discounts to film productions.

In addition to helping keep production costs manageable for film studios, the program also benefits local businesses that get more traffic and can create brand awareness in the film industry, Mitchell-Smith said.

The production’s prolonged presence in Baton Rouge will be advantageous for local crew members who will have work for as long as the project is in the city.

“Sometimes you’re on a show for two to three months, then you’re looking for another production,” Mitchell-Smith said. “Folks on this [project] will have consistent employment and a huge resume builder, never even having to go to California.”

Mitchell-Smith said “Breaking Dawn” will be an “enormous boost” to Baton Rouge’s economy through set building and production work, as well as the stimulus of cast and crew who stay in hotels and eat in local restaurants.

“There is a constant multiplication on the dollars the production is spending in our community,” she said.

As the “Breaking Dawn” production swoops into Baton Rouge, the city also has a chance to promote itself by offering local haunts for members of the production to sink their teeth into.

“There will be so many people temporarily in town, including actors, actresses and crew, who are, in effect, visitors,” Arrigo said.

Mitchell-Smith said Baton Rouge offers film casts and crews ample activities to entertain them during downtime.

“If you spend a couple months working in a market unfamiliar to you, work is a priority, but you want to have some fun,” she said. “One of the benefits of filming in southern Louisiana in general is you can go to LSU football games or you can ride bikes around the LSU lakes, like Patrick Dempsey has been doing.”

Dempsey has been in Baton Rouge for the last several weeks filming “Flypaper,” a comedy about a bank robbery, and has been spotted around the city.

Arrigo said he hopes to develop ways to tie in aspects of Baton Rouge and Louisiana with the presence of “Breaking Dawn” and the HBO series “True Blood,” which filmed in Baton Rouge last summer.

With the current craze of vampire literature and film, Arrigo said area attractions like the 13th Gate haunted house and the Myrtles Plantation could be tied in to those productions.

“There’s a certain following that would come to this area and want to visit to those sites,” he said.

Interview with Screenwriter Melissa Rosenburg by popsugar.com on adapting Breaking Dawn

Exclusive: Twilight Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg Shares Her Vision For Breaking Dawn and Just How Gory It Will Be!

Now that Eclipse has hit theaters and brokenbox office records, Twilight fans are already anxiously awaiting the next onscreen chapter in Bella and Edward's love story: Breaking Dawn. We talked exclusively to Melissa Rosenberg, the screenwriter behind all of theTwilight films, to find out what we can expect from the final two installments. She weighed in on whether or not Bella's childbirth scene will make it to the screen, shared her most surprising fan moment, and dished on her creative relationship with Stephenie Meyer.
Melissa will be speaking in LA at the Writer's Guild Foundation on Tuesday evening — tune into a livestream here. In the meantime, check out our all-new exclusive interview with her here now.
PopSugar: How did you feel about the decision to split Breaking Dawn into two movies?
Melissa Rosenberg: Relief, actually, because it was going to be quite a challenge to condense such a large book into one movie. That's always the challenge with all of these and, more so, Breaking Dawn. Having a little more room to breathe is nice . . . on the other hand, there's also the challenge of making sure there's enough to fill two movies.
PS: We've heard there are some scenes you want to avoid showing on screen in Breaking Dawn. For example, Bella giving birth. Can you tell us why?
MR: That was a misquote. The childbirth — all the scenes, I feel — should be on screen. I think perhaps what I was referring to was, would we actually see Edward's teeth through the placenta? I don't think so. I don't think we need to see that, and if someone needs to see that, I think they should take a look at that. [Laughs.] I believe it will be implied, but I don't think we'll see teeth in the placenta.
To read the rest of the interview about her craziest fan experience, her favorite scenes to write, and more, just read more.
PS: What responsibility do you feel toward the fans? Are they on your mind during the writing process?
MR: The responsibility I feel to the fans? Well, there's one: making them happy, of course. I want people to enjoy the movie and not feel that I killed their favorite novel! But what I've realized is, you can't satisfy all the people. But the real weight that I feel is a very heavy responsibility, knowing that a lot of women and young girls are seeing this, and watching to make sure that what's portrayed in the film is that Bella's a strong female role model. That the messages they're getting are positive ones.
PS: What's the craziest or most surprising fan reaction you've experienced?
MR: You can't call it crazy, but crazy wonderful. I just came back from Paris. I was there [for a press junket] with some of the actors: Daniel Cudmore, Edi Gathegi, Michael Welch, and Alex Meraz. At the end, there was this closing ceremony and we were told there was a surprise for us, and they led us out on the stage . . . and the entire audience was sort of standing in this darkened theater, almost as if in prayer. It was very odd. And then after a moment, Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" starts up, and they break into a dance they've been choreographing for three days. This wonderful, very unified dance, and it was amazing. We were stunned. A thousand pairs of hands all raised to the beat at the same time — it's a powerful experience . . . I wondered, could that have happened anywhere else but in France? Would American audiences have been too cool?
PS: How involved is Stephenie Meyer in the writing process and what is your relationship with her like?
MR: Stephenie is very involved. My relationship with her has only gotten better with every movie. When I met her and began to engage, I had no reason to be protective. I found her to be extremely collaborative and a tremendous resource. So I began to engage her more and that happened more on New Moon and even more in Eclipse . . . She weighs in on every draft of the outline, every draft of the script. She's on set. She's very involved.
PS: What is one of your favorite scenes from the books or films? Is there one you've especially enjoyed writing or look forward to writing?
MR: There are a number. I think seeing Bella as a vampire and her adjusting to her powers and embracing them, those are all really fun scenes to write. Particularly when you picture Kristen Stewart playing her, and the way she's embodied Bella as a sort of awkward, fidgety persona. When she turns into a vampire, all of that goes away.

THE TWILIGHT SAGA: Eclipse - Clip 'Fight Training'

Love this scene..."One more thing, never turn your back on your enemy." Poor Edward!

MTV Reports 'Breaking Dawn' In 3-D Will Be 'A Creative Decision'

MTVImage via Wikipedia
Summit Entertainment understands the importance of 3-D. Still, there continues to be rampant speculation about whether "Breaking Dawn," will open as a 3-D release when the first of a two-part finale arrives in theaters next year. But now, another movie on the studio's lineup may provide some clues about where Summit will take the "Twilight Saga."
"They're completely fascinated and intrigued by the technology," said director Patrick Lussier, who recently wrapped production on Summit's 3-D action flick "Drive Angry." "I think Summit has been discovering, as they've been seeing the 3-D material and the ease we've been able to work with it, is that it's an incredibly viable format to work in."
So will Summit's "Drive Angry" experience — the movie was shot using 3-D cameras rather than converted in post-production — combined with the fate of "Eclipse" at the box office , convince them to deliver their biggest 2011 release in three dimensions?
"That decision has yet to be made," Summit distribution head Richard Fay told MTV News. "It's still the source of a discussion."
While those talks inevitably touch on technological hurdles and monetary interest — owing to the premium-ticket prices that 3-D flicks command — Fay emphasized that the studio is more focused on creative concerns.
"There's certainly a financial part of the discussion," he said. "And yes, there's a certain amount of technology that has to be considered and accounted for. But it really comes down to the creative folks."
"In any of these roundtables conversations, [Summit CEO] Rob Friedman has always been concerned about the 'Twilight' patron," Fay added. "His concern is always the people that come in to see this movie. He doesn't want to turn them off or offend. That's why it's a creative decision. A big factor is the perception of our audience. What are their feelings going to be? If it lends itself to being a better movie because of 3-D, then that's the technology we'll use."

“Twilight,” the movie series based on Stephenie Meyer’s vampire-laden novels, will film in Baton Rouge beginning this fall in the latest catch for Louisiana’s film industry.
Late Friday, California-based Summit Entertainment LLC announced its decision — long-anticipated by Internet movie blogs — to produce the final two movies of the “Twilight” series in Louisiana and Vancouver, British Columbia.
Neither the budget size, the exact Louisiana studio location nor the split — how much will be filmed in Louisiana versus Canada — has been determined yet, said Hans-Dieter Kopal, a Summit spokesman.
The film-location decision has been closely watched because the franchise’s global box-office business to date has soared to $1.4 billion. “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” the third installment of the series, is showing in theaters now.
“Any production that lands in the state is good for us — we’re looking at a banner year for 2010,” said Chris Stelly, the film and television director for Louisiana’s state entertainment office. “So ‘Twilight’ coming to Louisiana affirms our position in the industry. This will certainly add to our ever-growing canon of pictures (and) keep our people employed in the industry and continue to grow our crew base.”
Kopal said the next “Twilight” movies will take a year to shoot. It’s too early to nail down a starting date beyond saying production will begin in the fall, he said, though Summit has said the first of the “Breaking Dawn” films will open at theaters on Nov. 18, 2011 — in time for the brisk holiday movie season.
Stelly said the state office hasn’t received a formal application for film tax credits on the “Twilight” project. But Louisiana’s 30 percent production tax credit significantly lowers the cost for producers to film in the state.
Summit Entertainment has been lured before to Louisiana, with “Red” wrapping up New Orleans production in April. The Helen Mirren-Bruce Willis-Morgan Freeman vehicle opens at theaters Oct. 15.
And “Twilight” is hardly Louisiana’s first blush with big-budget films. “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” starred Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett in 2008 and drew a Best Picture Oscar nomination after spending more than $150 million.
The Warner Bros. “Green Lantern” project, expected to complete production in New Orleans in August, should top $100 million as well, said Stelly.
But “Twilight” adds a multi-picture film franchise with a highly engaged audience and a sense of anticipation that few other movies made in Louisiana have generated.
Summit hasn’t disclosed how it will approach filming in Louisiana — whether shooting will be largely interior scenes here versus more exterior shots in Vancouver — but location filming can be a complex process with weeks of advance scouting for the best available settings.
“I just know that they’ll settle some place in Baton Rouge” as a hub, Stelly said. “(Filming) will be spread throughout the area, from what I understand. We’re certainly happy they’re coming here.”
Predicting the film’s Louisiana spending would be premature, he said.
Last year, the Sony/Columbia film “Battle: Los Angeles” shot at Celtic Media Centre and on location in Baton Rouge, spending about $30 million locally in the biggest-budget movie to date for the city.
A 2009 study by Chicago-based Economic Research Associates found the state film industry generates about $6.64 in economic stimulus for each tax credit dollar granted. Film spending rose to $70 million in Baton Rouge last year out of a state volume of about a half-billion dollars.
Stelly, reached after office hours, said Louisiana in 2010 could eclipse its previous film production record, but he didn’t have immediate access to year-to-date dollar volumes.
On a project basis, the state had reached 70 film and TV productions by midyear, well on its way to surpassing the roughly 100 productions in 2009, Stelly said.
Baton Rouge also is slated to play host to “Battleship,” based on the Hasbro board game, in the fall after earlier filming starts in late August in Hawaii, according to IMDb, the Internet Movie Database.
However, no formal announcement about Baton Rouge shooting of “Battleship” has come from Universal Studios.
Just completing production in Baton Rouge is another feature film, “Flypaper,” starring Patrick Dempsey and Ashley Judd. That bank-heist comedy will be released in 2011.
